Your first shot is the one that counts. The rest are just for practicing your shooting form. Too much shooting in 1 session can lead to fatigue, which in turn can cause you to lose your form.  If you shoot alot using bad form you can/will pick up bad habits, like dropping your bow arm or torquing the bow. 

If your torquing the bow alot, install a bow sling and shoot with an open hand.
