Pistol Permit Renewal

I heard that when you renew your pistol permit every 5 years because of the SAFE act, that it is going to cost $250. Anyone heard anything about this?

I remember reading on this forum, that pistol permit holders would have to renew every five years. If there is a fee for I don't know , a gun dealer said possibly it can be done online, only time will tell !
