Tilled and planted my two food plots Saturday morning... Columbia Cty just up from Dutchess county... How much rain did ya'll get over the weekend??? I'm hoping it didn't wast it out...

I think you'll be ok. Kind of depends on what you planted but with all the loose dirt on a fresh seeded plot the rain should help bury/cover the seed.

I planted 2 acres of oats and WR Sunday. Rains came Sunday night and Monday night. Washed out the plot. Over 3 inches of rain under 30 min.

Hey split was was the ratio you used on those...and how deep....I'm not sure if I want to drag or disc them in...with all the turkey I'm thinking disc light then smooth...

Grow I put down 112lbs of Oats and 100LBs of WR.  I disced, cultipacked, broadcasted seed and cultipacked again.  Knowing how much it was going to rain i never would have cultipacked the first time.  I will wait till the 20th and if It needs to be redone I will than.

this year has been by far the worst on my place.

Not much chance of rain in the extended forecast. Staggering the planting in the plot, so I want to broadcast some more seed in the near future.
