NYbuck50 Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 Ran into a neighbor down at camp, he had a camera on stateland i didnt know about, approximately 20 yards from where i hang my climber. He had photos of me on a Saturday, and this buck on a Tuesday. Not bad for an upstate 8. No one on the hill shot him last year, cant wait to see what he looks like this season. Between the lower number of hunters and the reality that in most cases it is only the "fringes" of State land get hunted, there is a real opportunity for some of the deer to grow up a bit.
