Suffolk?

Nice deer I saw and heard was taken in Suffolk...anyone hear anything on this one? Looks like a real nice buck.

I left the hunters head half cut. Don't want to offend the hunter if he didn't want to share. Got this in a text and have seen it up on other forums

thas a nice buck and def be a LI deer. 

 

i really hope the tag is on the hind leg since that deer is at the guys house because i do not see one on his rack. great deer tho!

Very nice deer. The one issue with all these bucks taken is in almost all the pics you don't see the tag so it makes people wonder but regardless very nice deer.

Personally, when I harvest a deer, I get it back to camp, hang it and then fill the tag. This is on private property pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Is that illegal/wrong?

I'll give the guy benefit of the doubt and say we can't see it

You have to fill out the tag asap but don't have to attach it till you get to your vehicle or camp.

I saw this deer on face book today I think he's from Huntington station and the deer was from Hampton's

Yes, it is illegal.

 

The tag must be filled out immediately, once the carcass is at your vehicle or camp, it must be attached.
