Anybody ever consider that this might just be another case of a deer "jumping the string"? From video that I have seen, there is no doubt in my mind that it is a very real possibility. Especially a deer turning and dropping to flee.

yes, it could have been caused by any of the many unintentional  things that can go wrong when shooting an arrow at a deer........nothing to suggest that it was intentional. Someone stated earlier that they hope they catch the guy who did it........can you imagine if it became a crime to make a bad shot on a deer???????
