Most reviews I have seen for the Pardner pumps has been good....despite their being quite heavy.

It is really heavy, considering it's length. Seems to be built like a tank!

I think they're made in China, but are solid guns. Big beefy frame, bolt and extractors. For the money they are a good buy.

Have a buddy that's got one. Good basic gun for the money. Compared to an 870, you can see that machining work is done cheaper with less attention to details. Still enough in spec that pretty much any aftermarket parts will work. (exception is barrel: different length of magazines make it impossible).

Great shooter, will pretty much eat anything you feed it, even when it's dunked in mud or snow.
