BKhunter
I didn't realize moose were that far south. I know they were growing in numbers far north.
mmkay
Thats a shame. I've seen moose for a few years in farnstock. right off of 301 near the Buddhist temple. oh well maybe it will be reincarnated as a 12 point buck!

waterweasle
the moose that was killed on rt684 was closer to 6 or years ago, and caused a 7-9 car pile up, it was buried right near where it was killed, the one that was killed in kent had been hanging out near clearpool education center( near Boyds rreservoir) and was letting people walk up and pet it, DEC put it down and latter determined that it was infected with brainworm Edited December 5, 2013 by waterweasle
raymerlo
just to let you peeps know,a few years ago one was shot in the great swamp in Patterson, and another was killed in Dutchess near the Trinity Pawling school off of rte 22 maybe the state should look into a moose lottery like some of the New England states
