growalot Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 There was an old man that lived behind us that could do the same thing and he had names for all the deer....his neighbors shot a lot of deer because of that...God rest his sole a young non hunter...who allows a few to hunt bought the 50 acres a few years ago...The deer wised up fairly fast though one neighbor on the other side who still feeds has buck and doe come in and totally ignore ppl standing talking just yards away... they never learn... letinmfly Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Some years back I met two older gentleman in PA that could do that. One did it with deer and the other with turkeys. It was fun to see. It's no different then the sound of a feeder going off on a south TX ranch. Wildlife gets used to the sounds and the actions that accompany it. They do get used to it.
