Should be legal for the same reason the Ruger Mini 14 Ranch is still legal, no pistol grip.

 

Because everyone knows, the difference between a legal firearm and a terrorist's weapon of destruction is the grip.

Its accurate. You can buy them setup like that. There are a couple of other options that havent been ruled on quite yet that may circumvent the safe act while keeping the regular pistol grip.

 

Theres a 6 month wait for ordering that stock BTW

Forgive my ignorance being fairly new to NY....an AR is illegal in the state?? I read rules and regs prior to coming and am aware of mag capacity.

I have all my guns locked in a safe out of state being that I am in a borough....figured better to avoid the Sullivan Act and the tight restrictions on long guns....

Read up the Safe Act. New law that's not fully enacted yet.
