Heat reclaimer.

Has anybody used or are using a heat reclaimer for a woodstove chimney? 

Have a straight stove pipe and we loose alot of heat through the chimney. Looking for ideas other than a flu. 

There seems to be a wide variation of price on these and I am kind of skeptical about them.

My brother ran one he had a lot more creosote build up in the chimney pipe.

I love the reclaimer! Magic Heat, I have had it for 18yrs. I also have a straight pipe through the roof.  I have a piece of straight pipe I slip in it's place for when I run a chimney brush through it. I also burn one of those creosote logs during the winter. But I don't burn wood every day.

We had a magic heat at our camp 35 years ago. When we got it made a huge difference in heating the camp.
