It Smelled Spoiled But I took A Chance..........

:fie:

I fished a bit today then mowed the lawn.  My daughter and wife were working so it was just sonny boy and I for dinner.

We had a Hormell pork tenderloin in the fridge but it was marked "Use By July 1st 2014". Considering those things are packaged probably months ago those "use by dates" can mean something.

I guess we'll see how tonight and tomorrow go because it was delicious.

I torched the BBQ and dusted them with Bad Byron's Butt Rub.  As they neared the desired internal temp I spread some Sweat Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce on them and finished them off.

They were spectacular!

I heated up some leftover peas, we split a sweat potato and I made a salad.  Not too shabby!

Hopefully we don't get sick and croak as that July 1 date is still in the back of my mind.................................. :swoon:

Lol... I'm sure it was fine..use by dates are based an a certain temp if your fridge was colder it extends the days

We made it through the night with no adverse effects!

The leftovers will make tremendous sandwiches..........
