Because it was put in by the legislature instead of the DEC - who should have it and would understand it better.

Because of this, NYB was able to exert some influence to keep crossbows from simply being listed as archery equipment.

I understand how forums work.I also understand that some people (like yourself) live to be thorn's in peoples backsides.I also understand treat others as you would want to be treated and its also my "opinion" that when the situation is reversed on you you will more than likely be the one crying foul.Its good to have your own opinion,its also good to voice your opinion from time to time,but when its all the time it gets very old.

Anyway, I bought an Orion 150 with crank. Should be here on Election Day. I'll have it all set up and sighted in by next weekend. There are a few places at Cornell where I'm likely to use it during gun season too. Places that allow xbows, but not guns.

Can't wait to try it out. Anyone had luck with 100 grain slick trick magnums out of a Scorpyd? I'd like to stay fixed blade if I can find on that'll shoot.
