sits in trees
That little girl could have been the one who ended up dead and now will have to live with something you wouldn't want to wish on any child all because of decisions made by the ADULTS in her life?? What's the need for teaching a little 9 year old American girl to shoot an UZI?
dbHunterNY
Didn't anyone else learn to shoot with a BB gun? I was taught how to aim and squeeze a trigger with a Red Ryder BB gun, and I loved it! To me, at age 7, it was the greatest thing in the world. I practiced with that BB gun for hours and must have gone through 1000 BB's in a month. I learned gun safety, as well as how to aim and shoot straight, long before I ever fired a single shot .22 LR.... Same here but that dang thing couldn't kill a pigeon crapping all over the barn worth a dang and it was as accurate as maybe one of those toy guns that shoots dimes or plastic discs. Made me as proficient as I am now which is a good thing. Dad drive home safety often. Heck the keys stayed in the gun cabinet lock for quick access. Got in trouble if we touched anything without asking and or put the keys away or somewhere else other than the lock. We turned out fine. WNYBuckHunter
Great post. I am also all for guns but these types?? For?? To do what? Doesnt matter for what. They are the SAME as any other gun. Perfectly safe when used RESPONSIBLY. In this sad case, it was used irresposibly and what happend shows why common sense and safety come first.
