Didn't want to be a hunting statistic

I didn't want to be known as a hunting statistic by having a massive heart attack in the woods.   So I had my heart checked out.  Stress test, etc, etc.

 

Dr. gave me the ok to do some mountain climbing.     Especially at 50 yo, huffing & puffing while walking around the block was making me nervous.   I'm glad I had myself checked out.   One less thing to worry about.

at least you know your good but still keep safety in other areas in mind while in the woods

Ahh the 50s, annual physical last week, wisdom teeth out this week and colonoscopy next week......sigh

Each year we get a full physical at work. Mine was last week,use the same joke each time the Dr. ( female ) is checking my prostate .

" Doc could you check for my wife's wedding ring while you'er in there ? "

I know the feeling. Had a pacemaker installed last Friday. No hunting for me till halloween. Which is fine since that's when the good stuff starts
