I saw a red oak with the same size. I haven't seen any white oaks producing yet.

Not many acorns on the trees around here, the Oaks are still suffering the effects of the Gypsy moth infestation, my black walnut tree is having a bumper crop.

I am going to my lease to work today, so I will check in on my observations later. The last time I was down there (3 weeks ago) everything was f'ed up from the storms. I don't know how the weather has been out in western NY but maybe the high winds are blowing them down prematurely?
