NYBowhunter
No..first looks like a decaying tree and second the spots are too high to be a rub
adkbuck
Agree with NYBowhunter. A rub will normally be on a live tree and have a very splintered or ragged appearance usually 1.5 to 3.5 feet up.

Northsox65
Looking at these so called "rubs" reminds me of a time long ago, I was hunting at 3 rivers up in Phoenix and I came across a city boy who was deer hunting and we had a couple inches of show on the ground and he called me over to show me some "huge" buck tracks he was following and asked if I could help him track it,,,,,I didn't have the heart to tell them they were rabbit tracks in the snow,,,,,, Not one of these trees is a deer "rub"
Bow Addict
I hate to burst your bubble but these are just decaying trees.Rubs are on live trees.

Woodjr55
the first is one on my property the second is on a property I hunt close to home. Needless to say the second looks like a bigger deer
