Personal preference. ...if it's a trophy to you then why not mount it....

A euro is a good idea I already have two 8 points mounted and I think this would look too small next to them

For me I would . I mount the deer heads if I have a good story to go with it. For me it's not only the size but for every mount I relive the hunt when showing them to people. It's like a finished product of my experience that day in my life. My uncle shot an 8 pointer in the Catskills not huge deer the same day JFK was shot . He is gone now but that head is still here and it's nice to have that story.

I personally would do a euro but its up to you in the end. What people consider mount material is different person to person. Ive seen spikes mounted by friends and there's nothing wrong with it. Congrats on the deer by the way.

I mounted my first bow kill from 1980, a perfectly symmetrical 8 point that measured no more than 80 inches...But, I look at it today and remember that day like Pug said.

 

If you have the money, and the wall room, I say go for it...But if you mount every decent buck you shoot, your gonna run out of one if not both....In any event, nice deer, congrats!

I think the Euro looks nice. I have a basket 7 mounted, that was my 1st buck with a bow. And I still remember the whole hunt over 20 years ago. There was a guy who had so e Euros done then mounted them on natural wood on this or another forum, they looked real nice.
