Does 40 degree nights effect the fawns much? We have a couple in a row then it warms up! Weather is the biggest mortality rate for young ones. snow or rain with cold nights could be bad. Even behind fence the rain and damp with the 40 degrees is the killer. Up here it’s so early we don’t have any undergrowth or tall grass for them to bed in to get out of the wind.
