22 mag ammo?

Interesting here in the Hudson Valley a couple of gun shops tell me they have had the stuff on order since Feb and just can't get it and then others tell me oh yes we have plenty of it? What have been your experiences..

In the beginning of the ammo shortage, it use to be that 22mags and 17hmr are all that you could find.  Now, even some of those selves are empty.  I don't even see as many 308's as I use to but now there are tons of 223.  It's been over a year now, hasn't it?  You would figure the market would have stabilized by now.

In western ny the shelves of Cabelas, Dicks, Gander, and Wal-Mart have a full supply of .308, .223, and .17......still in very short supply of .22lr and .22mag...but on the flip side I did pick up 1500 rounds of Remington .22lr at Gander, the guy said they got mixed up in the back with other ammo and ad been sitting on the shelf for 2 days so he sold me all 3 boxes.

Honestly of you guys are going to these ammo places please do this. Ask around and look behind ammo for. 22 because there are places that hide the ammo so people won't find it, first hand experience at Walmart. But I have found ammo at Walmart, gander and even cabelas.

i do not think ammo is still being bought like it was now they are keeping the price up by keeping the stocks low i could not find any mag ammo so i guess my small game hunting is done for this year thanks ammo makers you are killing our sport

I paid 29.99 for .22lr, I liken to keep a couple thousand rounds on hand. Starting in March my dad, wife and myself shoot in a friendly .22 rifle league, so we can blow through it pretty quickly.

i was in awego ny yesrerday and stopped in lock and load spors shop and got a box of 50 rounds of hornady v max 30 grain for 20 dollars nice people i wish we had more placec like that in my area
