first snow goose

went out today with a buddy hunting on his duck boat about 9 am young snow goose came by cupped legs out ready to land in out mallard decoys one shot and I dropped him

Took him over to fins to feathers taxidermist for a nice mount

Congrats on your snow goose they can be very hard to get to come to your spread that guy sounded awful lonely lol.  Just saw my first flock of snows (this year) yesterday on my way to work must of been 500 of them now I gotta figure out what field they're going to.

I was hunting in berne,ny  and saw 2 flocks today going over me. I want some.

How much are they getting to mount a gooose now?

I think there going for $250 may be a little more.You got to ask Richie at FINS TO FEATHERS I just drop it off and let him mount them and then he tells me what I owe him

I ducks are $175.

The last snow we got mounted was 275..............and that was ten years ago, hopefully you wont get sticker shocked.

Congrats!! They are starting to get more plentiful around here. I saw 2 big flocks While I was out deer hunting friday. Gotten many of canadiens but never a snow.

I live in Auburn, and they are everywhere here. im right near the montazuma water refuge, so they love it here. cant wait til dec 26th

There are so many geese flying over Seneca County Southern end right now it is unreal. We went and setup Decoys Sat afternoon and I bet he saw over 50,000 geese fly over in less then 2 hours.

On long Island we don't have too many Snow geese so getting one is kinda rear here

Correct me if I'm wrong but Aren't Snow geese closed for the Long Island zone and I belive the season doesn't start untill March.
