Need FFL Reco in Northern Westchester

Hi All...

 

Anyone have a recommendation on an FFL to receive a long gun in Northern Westchester (Mt. Kisco/Somers/Yorktown).  Preferably one who charges a reasonable rate to receive a long gun and conduct a background check.

 

I made a few calls and have heard some outrageous charges.

check percision armory or tri-county sporting goods. they are in carmal area should be more reasonable than westchester

what would be a reasonable price? I checked out the listings on Gunbroker and would consider $50.00 to be reasonable, although there were some a bit cheaper.

I have a good one for now, he only charges $25 to do a transfer.  For now he isn't doing handguns because he didn't renew his license.  He thinks he'll renew it but not surprisingly, the amount of paper work and hassle associated with it might not be worth it.

 

I encouraged him to renew as giving in to the bastids is what they want...................

Harvey Morgan in mount kisco is great, Firenailer did a few ffl transfers with him not too long ago as did I a few years back, he's a real great guy too
