growalot
What are you guys seeing this year on prices for 50#'s of WR.WW, and oats Edited August 13, 2015 by growalot
phade
Not in the 50# full bag, but got some WR at $0.65/lb right down the road from work. Nearest place for me to get a 50# would be offset by gas/time, so the rate is fine for me.
growalot
I was quoted 79. a # ...I thought that sounded dang high..they wanted 28 bag for feed oats...they don't sell WW or seed d oats. Rusty1034
WR is about $25 for a 50 lb bag at Bills feed, just north of Watertown. Rusty

growalot
No I popped into Dansville Away on the way back from the gym...I still waiting for Turners to give me a call on the 2 bags of WW I ordered a week or so ago and he didn't have the prices yet, just a guestament (yes made up word) Any ways I realized I had more spots than I thought so figured I'd through down some what I thought was going to be cheap rye down with some oats and red clover...I just disced the bigger field again(each time I go down and pick big rocks and I hit two small areas in the woods...I have another half acre and a tiny plot left to disc...ticked off that the WTI seed TTT apparently does not hold over like turnip seed and I mixed the two...well all the big turnip plots are now spotty and starting to weed up...I'll never buy their seed again...never had any thing but problems with it. Haha they'll be well fed when I'm away Edited August 13, 2015 by growalot

growalot
Well the WW was 17.00 a 100#'s and the WR is 27 a bag...so I went with 200# of WW....then went to pick up Sthil pruner extra parts and having a bit of lunch greasing disc and hopefully heading down to spread and disc and drag at the same time..I hook drag to the back of the disc. Weather is still no rain and tomorrow low chance until 12:00pm. decided to take the Canadice lake route to see the lake...what a PITA... roads a mess and then just past the launch they have it closed ended up almost at Honeyoe Lake with the detour Edited August 17, 2015 by growalot
