Question to the left, should Apple follow the law?

I looked all over and can't find that specific story but a google search of "apple+fbi" turns up a lot of the information, just not in one concise article.

Bottom line is that the government doesn't like having it's citizens able to keep secrets.

Apparently the FBI had an opportunity to get the data off the phone but screwed up. I believe Apple tried helping them and they didn't follow directions. They needed to allow the phone to back up to the iCloud account using the terrorists wifi. Instead they reset the iCloud account, ruining the ability for the phone to to do that.
