Gun store help

Hi everyone, so I live in rockland county and am currently in the market for a m1 Garand, does anyone have any suggestions of gun shops to try.... I am willing to drive around 2 hours to go to the right shop.. I will also be in Binghamton for work next week so I am willing to explore a little up there as well... Any suggestions of gun shops that tend to have older historic firearms would be greatly appreciated... Thanks guys!

. Yea I've done plenty of research their supplies are severely limited right now, and they don't really have what I'm looking for at the moment

Oh I was unaware of that until now. Sorry I cant be of further help. There's a gun show on LI this month...maybe that would be a good place to ask around.

The Syracuse gun show is coming up April 16&17 there is always a big selection of M1 Garands there for sale.

You could always do gunbroker.com. On any item that has a pressured supply, online is the only way to ensure you don't get raked over the coals by some guy in a store who wants to mark the heck out of it just because.
