One thing the big stores do is offer a modified version of a product. This way they can guarantee the price if nobody else has that exact same model. Fwiw, I have a 30 dollar glacier bay faucet that's lasted 10 years. I just put 3 in a month ago. They have a lot of plastic to them now.
