hunter49
I saw this at the Hamburg Sports Expo, it seems like cheap health insurance & thought I would pass it on. I have nothing to do with this product check it out! blackashoutdoorproducts.com ; "treestand wingman"
Nomad
Thanks! It took some doing , watching their videos and looking at their site , but after finnally finding the instruction manual i was able to find the answers to my question. That is can you climb up,and down connected to the system, which you can , maybe. Idk Yhe videos are not the best, it seems that with a climber it would work fine as you wrap the tree with the webbing and slide it up as you climb , same as I do now but with a rope. But how would you slide the webbing up a tree that has climbing sticks, screw ins or ladder sticks ? Right now I pre tie a safety line above my stands when i hang them, then each time I hunt I hook into the Prusik knot to ascend and descend . This would be nice as I can do a controlled decent in case of a fall , something I've done with rope systems at work. If it could be attached to the Prusik knot then we'd have something ! fasteddie
I bought a Controlled Safety System Harness for $160 a few years ago and never used it . The highest I go is 15 feet in ladder stands and never found a need to use it . Probably great for those that go in the nose bleed heights . https://youtu.be/Oi07pbdZ8ok
