.380 bullets

I have been looking for some nice HP .380 bullets and no one seems to stock them. I have looked at gun shops, brick and motar, you name it notta. So I was going to ask if anyone has thought about using .38 special bullets? They are literally .002-.003 larger but come in the same bullet weights as the .380 and a bunch of different bullet shapes. That .002 shouldn't make a difference but thought I would throw it out there. 

 

The 380 is the same diameter as 9mm but 9mm doesn't go down to 95 grains.

Don't do it, go online to Natchez or Midway and get the 380 bullets they will have them in stock and will ship them to your door.

Ok sounds good, I wasn't sure but I'll take your advice and buy the .380 bullets.

Don't even think about it. Not only would it not function, your .380 is designed to shoot ammo at .380 pressures, and could blow up in your hand if you feed it something not designed for.

They sell just the bullets and other reloading components, no live ammo.

Aaah, read that post a little too fast. Was thinking he was trying to use .38 special ammo.

 

FWIW, I heard that Macks Prairie Wings, will sell shotgun ammo to us.

Haha I know better than to use 38 special ammo in my little .380 ACP I was just talking about the bullet itself.
