Northern Lights Put on Dazzling Display Over Seattle Area, Photos and Videos Show  

 

The Northern Lights lit up the skies over western Washington starting late Saturday night in a stunning display that was widely captured on camera.

A hint of “aurora green” on the the northern horizon was initially spotted in a cloudy night sky around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, according to a tweet from the National Weather Service Seattle.

Hum our oldest daughter is in Oregon right now hiking there great trails and water falls, wonder if she saw them.

I've had the opportunity to get some great views of the Northern Lights while canoeing up in the Yukon and BC .
