New Hardware

Our old printer croaked a few weeks ago and my laptop is on its last legs so I plunked down the cash for a new set up.  MAN do I hate upgrading......................

 

ASUS and Epson were what I decided on, hopefully they give another 8 years of service like the old Dell and Epson combo.

 

I started out this morning to setup the printer.  Figures the damned Verizon DSL was wonky today, I had to power down/up the system three times before it straightened out.  Pecking away now from the new rig and printed a couple old emails for a test run. 

 

How's your set up working for you?

When my old HP started to sound like my idling diesel tractor I bought a bunch of thumb-drives to get critical files onto the lifeboat. The new Dell is working fine.

I've got a sony viera ultrabook I bought right after my office was wiped out courtesy of hurricane Katrina and I had to work from home for 6 months till we got a new one, still working well all these years later

I should upgrade too but I hate changing tech stuff and learning new. Stuff I'm using is ancient....

 

The debate is simple; pay for a future hunt or a computer.

 

Hunt wins every time.

Went to a Kodak from hp.. happy with it been 3 years now
