Water Rat
It seems like all the critters enjoy birdseed this year.
grampy
Over the last five years, I've had to kill three rabid raccoons on our property. Now if I see them during daylight in the open, I SS&SU.

Water Rat
The photo was from yesterday around 7pm. There's a few coon dens right behind my house and I usually see them when it starts to get dark.
NFA-ADK
They seem to wakeup just before dark sometimes more than a hour before! A few times hunting LI I would see a family of 3 babies and a mom walking the game trails, lucky for them I do not target them unless rabid. We use to hand feed them when I was a kid out on my aunts back porch. My buddy had one as a pet, this thing was CRAZY wild! Can I pet your raccoon, Sure he said, the closer I came to the cage the more freaked out it became! Sure you can try to pet him but I was scared to death of this thing flipping out in the cage! Then he would just take the coon out by the scruff of it's neck and plop it on his shoulder, crazy!!! RIP Chris, missing you!
