Any one been to IL on a deer hunt?

The wife and I set ourselves a goal of making a trip in five years, after we make a trip to Disney with the kids of course. Any one else been out west any where? We have alot of money to save to make it happen but we will do it. It will be an archery hunt of course and during the rut in Pike county, well where else would I go right? We have been researching it for a while and decided IL looks the best when taking every thing in to consideration. How bout you guys???

Im trying to plan a DIY hunt in Ohio this year, but with a wedding coming up, Im not sure it will happen. Id like to hunt Kansas one of these days as well.

i really have been hearing pike county is where its at!

If you do some research you will find alot of places as good as pike county.  less money and less pressure in these lesser known counties. our group has been out there several times DIY with near 100 percent on 135+ bucks.
