    got this guy last Saturday out looking for does. he was the third good buck I had seen that morning all between 9 and 10:30. came in behind me stopped in a shooting lane at 27 yards. I made a good heart shot and saw him go down after about a 50 yard run. not the best picture to show his size, he was 18 inches inside.

    most hunter are not bone driven stats will show most are weekend warriors at best, sure there are the ten fifteen percent that are hard core. The price has been driven up by the "horn 'hunter. the largest population of hunters in ny go hunting to get away and have a good time.

    I don't know of any Midwest state with state AR's . I know IL, KS,IA, and OH don't have any statewide mandated AR's. The one thing these states do have are short 3 to7 day gun seasons mostly with shotguns, they also have far fewer hunters. http://www.qdma.com/articles/hunter-density-across-the-u.s

    so there is no longer a doe tag good for muzzleloader and archery with the supersportsman? so you pay a dollar less a get one less tag.

    Got this 8pt ten after eight 11-16-13. Him and another 8pt came in chasing a small doe, stopped perfectly broadside at seventy five yards.

    a 585 pound bear was taken in clymer (9j) by an amish guy this week.

    This has been the best season I've ever had, shot a nice 9 pt the first tuesday of the season. I took my six year old daughter out for the first time and she got to see me take a doe. I've also seen about 15 different bucks this season three of which will would score over 120. My only regret is filling my tags early and having to watch these other nice bucks walk by. cant wait for gun season to open.

    I have taken five over 100 inches, four with a bow one with a shotgun. Most people around here consider a 100 inch deer a shooter. I try for anything 3.5 years old and older, I did take a 95 inch 3.5 year old several years ago.

    last time I checked New Mexico has individual archery, muzzeloader and rifle seasons. The archery and muzzeloader seasons tend to be in better times of the year like the rut.
