Anyone Going To The State Fair?

We are on vacation next week and are planning to go. Been a few years so we will bring the grandsons. Will try for a somewhat less hot day. Lots to see, lots to eat, should be a good time!

Every time I even think about going to the state fair the temperature flashes up into the 90's and I start remembering that there is absolutely no shade there. It's like heading to the Sahara to have a good time. Not likely to happen.

The last time the Mrs. and I went, we only lasted two hours! Temps were in the 90s and like you said, no shade. was even hotter in most of the buildings. Wed. and Thur. look to be in the low 80s. so it will be one of those days. Comfy shoes will be a must!

I live close so I will try to pick a cooler, only 80, day to go. I like to go, it is a fun day with the kids. When it is hot though it can be brutal.
