Hawkeye Bowman Labor Day Shoot

Talking about going with 2012_taco.  Anybody else going?

As with all Hawkeye shoots, it'll be a good one.

We did end up going and we had fellow member here Turkeyfeathers (not a bowhunter, YET) tag along for 20/30 targets. He had plans with his family for later in the morning so at least we got to finally meet!!  As usual, my "internet instinct" was spot on......he's a good guy!!

The shooting went pretty good; I never missed and only skipped one across the ground into the target.

Well organized, great courses and good food.....my kind of day!!

Great to finally meet you as well Larry and good to see 2012-taco again  You boys can shoot !  Great place and WHEN I do buy a bow I'll think I'll join there. Like the walking 3D shooting. Breakfast sammich hit the spot. 

And you called the skip on the laying down deer before the shot  

Thanks again for letting me tag along guys.

At the "worlds"?  See turkeyfeathers, I told you he was a Pro.  Good thing he didn't come today. 

The worst I could do today was come in second......and I did.

Was tf toting the cooler and umbrella?? I think they have a spring or winter shoot....i am in if you guys go again.

Na, I was the bow holder when they pulled their arrows out of the 12 & 10 rings. Pretty sure by spring I'll have a bow . I'll be good for 5's as long as I hit the target

Lol any squid can qualify for the worlds, it's a blast I recommend you go when it comes back to Eville
