Signpost rubs

Does anyone else enjoy finding signposts as much as me. Every time I find one I just imagine how many bucks have rubbed this same tree.

Its always fun to find signs and speculate what has been there before you.

Luckily, trail cameras have made the game even more enjoyable.

At camp a few years back on Northern zone closing weekend it was bitter cold and we had about 8 inches of snow that Sunday night. I went to pack and leave Monday morning, opened my front door and within 20 feet of my door was a scrape made that night with fresh bark on top of the snow. I still wonder why so close and just how big of a deer was it ?

That one has been used by many that's for sure . Closest I have is some small in diameter trees between 2 fields that gets hit year after year. There's zero wind that will allow me to hunt it though. It's on property line .

When I see mattresses at the curb I often wonder "if that mattress could talk"
