Material list: 1 - folding saw horse w/adj. legs (for uneven terrain at the range) 1 - piece of scrap plywood (size and shape, builder 2 - carriage bolts w/hardware Final finish builders option; ex: stain & poly; paint. I could see it's use in some hunting applications, also..It's light and portable enough to be thrown in the truck and then set up in a good vantage point in the field... Yes, they will work.............................. I'd like to make one like the OP has. I'm sure it wouldn't be as stable as the one I've shown (3 heavy legs, marine grade plywood top) but it would probably be O.K. for a hunting rig. Nice little project. The central placed sawhorse legs, do the lend to flexing in the table? What thickness plywood did you use, 3/4"? And slightly off topic, the shooter's cutout reminds me of a high school desk.
