Light Hike

Took a short hike this morning. hard to tell from the pic, but this deer was only about 15 feet from us.

Five Rivers, is a cool place. When my grandsons were little, we used to go down and "see the deer". Most always see a bird of prey there too. You had a nice day for a walk down there. I'm old enough to remember when it was the, Delmar Game Farm. Used to love seeing the bears!

Yes, Five Rivers Environmental Education Center. Nice place, we plan on going back and walking more of the trails over the Summer.

Too bad the current DEC stepped in and closed it down as a game farm and zoo.

It was time well spent over there. Better then going to relatives and listening to people degrade one another all day.
