Bloodtracking

I'm very excited about tracking this coming season. John and Jolanta Jeanneney (borntotrack.com) have offered to loan me one of their dogs to use as a backup for Luna. Last season Luna had to take some time off due to some minor injuries she got during her 44 tracks. I anticipate us being busier this year.  Luna will NOT be happy when she realizes Yukon is going instead of her.

The Jeanneney"s are known world wide for their tracking dogs. John was my mentor getting started many years ago. My buddy and partner Gary and his daughter Nikki, used some of the Jeaneney dogs last year and did really well with them. They don't have a "bad" bloodtracking dog, just really good and superstars! I was fortunate enough to be the dope on a rope, behind Sabina on a few tracking calls. And was the tracker, who tracked and shot the buck that gored Sabina and busted up John, some years ago.  We have Xola ready to go for this year. This will be her second year, so looking for a big improvement over her "puppy" stage last year! We don't live too far from John and Jolanta. At some time, it would be great to meet up with you for coffee, and to share some tracking stories! What you and Luna have accomplished is truly impressive!!!

John and Jolanta are truly a special couple! I didn't know you were involved when Sabina got gored and John got busted up....quite the story!  I'll be coming in September to pick up Yukon....getting together for coffee sounds great. I'll be in touch as it gets closer.

I'll look forward to that Tom!
