Shotgun review Franchi Affinity

In the last 2 months I have bought 2 new semi auto shotguns one on accident and one on purpose. I bought a Benelli m2 12ga a couple weeks ago and I like it shot a couple hundred shots and its ran nearly flawless with a couple hiccups with light loads. While I was looking for a new gun I put a big on a Franchi affinity on GB and forgot about it. Well I won and now I have 2 new semi's.

The Franchi is AWESOME! I payed 525$ after transfer fees less than half what I payed for the M2. It has a 26" barrel and has a reeltree camo pattern. Its been more reliable and it points better for me than the M2. I just got in from putting a case "250" trap/game loads through it without even cleaning the packing grease off it and it ran flawless. I am super impressed with this "cheap" gun. Recoil is very comparable to the M2 even without the comfort Tech stock. The camo finish is flawless. Fit and finish is equally as good as the Bennelli. We will see how well it kills crows but so far farm I am extremely happy with it. I don't know what I'm going to do with the m2 yet probably keep it as a spare.

I'm putting this here because I had a very hard time finding any honest reviews on the Franchi. I will try to keep up on this as time goes on.

I have a Franchi O/U and like it a lot. I had a good experience with their customer service last year, I found a small crack in the stock and was able to send it back and get a new one fit and installed for free. 

If I were to buy a camo gun Franchi would be on the list.

That might get tougher, they don't offer the Intensity any more apparently.

Franchi has always made great guns. I have a falconnet 20 o/u and a model 48 in 12...outstanding performers. I recently purchased 2 new Browning A5s...incredible guns...I will be ordering the sweet 16 soon...that will add to my Browning addiction of 22 belgian auto 5's and 16 ga citoris...lets not even mention the Perazzi...berettas....aw...forget it

Franchi makes real good guns you won't be disappointed. However that M2 will run forever. I had a buddy of mine use his for a paddle one time on his canoe and runs flawlessly. It's a heavy stick but he has had it for many years
