HectorBuckBuster
I was out doing some scouting in a area and stumbled across this. I have never seen ginseng . Took a couple pictures, but it appeared the plant was dying off and turning yellow already and only this leaf left and this cluster of berries. Can anyone confirm what this is>
airedale
I was in Tennessee some years ago and had a fellow show me some ginseng, if I remember right the plant has five leaves, three across the top and two smaller ones just below. The berries are in a bunch very similar to the ones in your photo. If I were to guess I think those are ginseng berries. Al
Water Rat
I found the same plant. I don't think it's ginseng but I wish it was.
Culvercreek hunt club
I'd sooner think it was Jack in the Pulpit.

I've followed up with some of these Jack in the pulpit plants throughout the spring, summer, and now what I'd consider fall. I believe you're probably right as they've now gone to berries. Pretty common to see them here. They also fooled me in the past when I thought I'd make an attempt at finding ginseng.
