BizCT
I used to love the cougars at the townie bars in Poooolaski when I was like 18. I never got up early after long night, but the afternoons made for some good fun throwing giant J Plugs with 30lb test line at the town pool. ATbuckhunter
From what I hear the river fishing has been amazing, but I also suspect a lot of the reports have been played up a bit. In any case the river does have more fish in it already than it had move through in the last season. My advise would be to check out the town pool and trestle pool. Id focus on the town pool all the way down to the DSR boarder. The fish are very fresh so you will definitely be in for a good fight no matter what. Early mornings and late afternoons have proven to be the best times as usual.

Billdogge
Always some fish. You'll be hitting it at a good time. Been doing it for many years. PM if you have any questions
ATbuckhunter
Thats great! I can't tell you how excited i am to go up there this year. The run has been great this year so im hoping for another great season like we had years ago. Once you fish there enough, you'll switch to a fly rod and reel eventually. I always fought switching to a fly set up, but let me tell you its much lighter than a spinning set up and much easier to fish.
