Saturday afternoon rabbit run with 3 dogs

Ran 3 dogs today, Bellmores PUP E, Bella, and Breeze, they ran for about 30 mins, I was able to see the rabbit 8 times crossing trails before they lost him.

Thanks Karp, at one point he was standing on side of trail just watching me, but camera was off, he stood that way for like 15 seconds,trying to listen to dogs and figure me out, was pretty cool.

Nice video. I am just starting with my beagle, he is almost 7 month. He does good. I am going to get him fixed on Monday and someone made a comment that if they are fixed they will not hunt anymore. Any truth to this?

No truth to it.

I have had several dogs both nuetered and spayed. They all hunted.

Paula, not true in my experiences, actually may be the opposite, as if he has not bred before, his mind will remain on hunting ,either way every dog is different, and he should be fine. Just watch the weight,as I know with females they are prone to gain weight when fixed. Good luck with the surgery

Thanks Gary and Bell. I am hoping he doesn't get too round. Can't wait for him to start the barking, right now he only has grunted but that still exciting

I have had to nueter several male before because of fighting at trees and such. Never made a difference in hunting performance.

Took chester out today and i could tell his grunting was different, sure he enough he bark! that was cool
