Actually i personaly won't be anywhere near this spot to close to my house not for shooting distance, they're like pets when you see em' all the time. Though i am hoping that i can put a youth on one of them april 23rd or 24th.

That's great that you do the youth Turkey hunt.It won't be long now.What a memory that would be for a young hunter if they took one of those gobblers home!(Or an old hunter for that matter).

I try to do it  every year got birds  3 out of the 4 years i ben able to do it and got a few fathers into turkey hunting as well. Sill looking for a kid this year.. have a few leads but i like to see that the kids wants to do it not the parent pushing them.

They are struttin early again this year.I had 5 strutters in my corn at lunch time today.If a season needs to be open earlier it might be turkey's.

Earlier season will never happen... most breeding takes place in april.. thats why they let you hunt the toms in may, most hens are already bred and laying by our may 1st opener.
