New Rubs Appearing

One of the guys from my club land up in Delaware was hunting there the last few days.  He swears new rubs are showing up on trees that were not previously rubbed.  He texted pics and some were still oozing sap.  Seems a bit strange that this would happen now.

Here too. Not unusual. If there was snow, you would see detritus on it.

Happens every year early December, one month after first heat cycles.

Tons of new rubs in my spot, they’re firing up again. Also got a video from a friend of two whoppers in an all out brawl in a backyard,

Freshened up rubs and scrapes here too within the last couple days. Yes about 1 month now after first estrous cycle

Without any evidence, I've thought this might be the result of high levels of testosterone but fewer available does.
