My longtime favorite outdoor store has announced they are selling. The owner states that due to the increase in online sales and that the family doesn't want to continue the business he is selling out.  

This sucks. It's the only outdoor store in oneida and has been here forever.  Online sites are ok but can go there and be heads on with stuff.  

Just bought a 12 g there this fall that was a great deal.  Went there today and used up my gift cards cause dunno what might happen down the line.  

They say their stores are gonna be sold but who knows how that ends. Someone may buy them out and close them all.  Def a loss for the area and another brick and mortar store is gone.   

So much small business has to contend against.  It was the big box stores and now online sales.  But there is nothing like wandering thru the outdoor store to look at things that are real and right in front of you.  Will miss this store for sure and several of the very helpful people that have worked there .

That sucks me and wife usually stop there before going to the casino.

If bass pro buys them they will own the market with the recent Cabelas purchase.
