Serious Dog Problem

My son has a young German Short Hair dog . He says the dog farts are unbearable and no not blaming anyone's farts on the dog .  Nick was talking to me on the phone and gasped because the dog was near him and let one go . He almost gagged . I told him to put some BEANO in the dog's food . 

I would guess that it has to do with what they are feeding the dog and might stop into PETCO in Webster and ask the question . Any thoughts on this ?

Wife ( a vet) said to change food   But slow and gradual change   Mixing a little new in with the old slowly phasing out the old.  A quick change could make things worse.

I assumed that it was food but we aren't supposed to assume . Thanks for the input .

Make sure someone in the family isn’t feeding the dog something on the QT......my dog would puke and I’d say “what the heck, who fed the dog xxxx food?”  Then I’d get a confession........
