Has any one here ever hunted at northeast whitetails in Columbia county, If so can you give me some feedback on the place

Great place to hunt. Years ago there were many deer in the county. Not as many know.

"Canned" hunts are not my thing. I'd rather go to the range and target shoot.

Woooooo! My mistake! Senior moment!!!! Thought you were talking about northeast Columbia County. No canned hunts for me, cheaper to got to the range.

  I just don't see the fun of shooting a deer that was raised on a farm.  No fun in it for me either.  I brather kill a target plus for 3000 dollars and up i don't think it is worth it.  Every time you tell that story in the back of your mind you will be saying and I payed to take that one shot and didn't really earn it.

The only things I'm paying for is my license, gear, food and travel. Public land or private land. No outfitters for me, personally. But, to each his own.
