Snakes on a boat!

Anyone seen this? We get the occasional water snake approach us when we're kayaking, but they always swim away after checking us out.

Speaking of snakes... Can I carry a handgun on NY Water shed  property??? Saw 2 big snakes last week....

Just an FYI that watersnakes are protected in NY I'm pretty sure, I wish you could shoot them as I see a ton while fishing in the kayak.

Yes all NYS native snakes are protected.
Watersnakes look nasty, but are usually harmless
