Lawdwaz
When I travel down to hunt and back I usually take Rt 33 to Rt 77 to Rt 20 to Avon-Lakeville Rd to Rt 20A to Rt 15A etc etc....The amount of car/deer collisions on the Rt 77, Rt 20 portion of the ride are usually evident with the bloody carcass carnage along the edges of the road. Early in the morning (pre dawn of course) traveling can be white knuckle for me with what should be (and I know it is) the rut in full swing. So on the way down yesterday morning from 5am-6:30am I never saw a live deer until I was on the far side of Livonia and didn't see a single road kill. On the drive back home today I saw one carcass just east of Rt 77 in the grass. The Rt 20 section in Genesee County is usually loaded with live deer and dead in the early morning hours......almost nothing the past 24 hours. Just one guys observation for what its worth. turkeyfeathers
Mama and I took the Como Park Blvd gauntlet last night from Union across Transit to home As always deer in almost every yard and around Stiglmeir park standing curbside We normally won't even drive that way at night Last year we saw 2 dandys sparring on Como almost to Stiglmeir and then we crossed Transit and saw a doe running in front of the post office short of Penora with a monster on her heels Thankfully it's 30 mph and not 55 like your route of passage
